colt 10 mm

What is the hammerh spring weight.I put a 40 conversion bbl in it and dont need that strong a weight.

As for the OP's question, I would call Wolff and see what they recommend?

for what it is worth the hammer spring which causes the firing pin to hit the primer would remain the same. the recoil spring which is located in the slide would not be quite as strong as originally needed. seems like the barrel provider would have some idea about the correct one.
…. perhaps others can expand or correct my random thoughts here.

He is asking about a 1911 style pistol. The hammer spring and recoil spring weight need to be reduced. You can get the springs from Wolff Springs www.gunsprings.com . They list recommended springs for specific calibers.
