OK!!

I got the Burris AR-536 scope! It has no Quick-detachable mount but later I'll get that to.

Also I got installed a MagPul Moe rifle stock that was short! Exact length as my Colt M4s collapsible stock set for my shooting. Yes long buffer needed and added.

Only fly in the ointment is I can't shoot it till MONDAY! Oh, well.

But I forked at a total of $460, tax included for everything, including mounting the longer buffer and stock.

Now to get the one point sling gear that fits the MagPul stock hole!

Now I just wish MagPul would make their forend have the bottom detach so inside a 4-5 piece sectional cleaning rod would fit. I have the Magpul grip with trap door and I can see batteries and lens cleaning equipment be in it. And the Moe Stock have the cleaning patches and Break-free. Just wish the forend would take a cleaning rod!

Let us know how the scope works out.

Also... did you change the buffer tube? Not just the buffer and spring inside.

Yes buffer tube, buffer, and spring! I had them do it on site when I bought it all.

I'll give a range report!

You sound serious... you need the best. The Elcan Spector DR 1.5/6.

Sounds like you did good with the Burris.

I'm running various scopes from Bushnell Banners to Vortex to Burris E-1 and all perform well enough for the average user. If you can't find a scope under $150-200 that suits you, you're too hard to please.

Deaf, hey check make sure the reticle in the 536 isn't canted also they had a promotion not sure if it's still going for a free fastfire 3 with prism scope purchase.

I tried two 536 both had crooked reticles so I just went back to 3x spitfires

Some day, you might want to get into shooting CMP/NRA matches, that's where you can really learn to shoot your ARs.

Scopes are legal in these matches now days, but you're limited to 4.5 X.

Might want to take that in consideration.

After about 50 years shooting M16/ARs with irons I finely went the scope route seeing what they do at the above mentioned matches.

I went the Vortex Viper pst route. 1-4X24. It is a mid prices, high quality scope and I've become quite impressed with it.

It works great on 1X for 3-gun shooting and 4X for HP/CMP matches.
