New from GunBroker......Part 2

Got this Colt New Frontier on GunBroker last week, first chance I had to get to the range with it.

Took a few bracketing adjustments in the rear sight, but sort of got it in the ball park:

Still got a ways to go. The trigger pull is atrocious, maybe like sixteen pounds. Going to slick that up and shorten the barrel. But for now..........

Shorten the barrel? Really? You gonna cut up a genuine Colt?

I already have a 7 1/2" .45 Colt, and the bargain price for this one left me enough cash to do some custom work on this. There is no sacrilege in making it suit my tastes.
