Is it solely to sow discord? Folks who come to farm country and start telling folks that live there how to manage the land based on the former's "feelings" on animals' "pain" ...... I shoot coyotes (and other varmits) on sight, whenever I am afield. ..... frequent practical ballistic problem solving sharpens one's hunting skills. Coyotes, among other critters, provide those opportunities. When successful, I am elated. If that irritates PETA members and others of their ilk, then doubly so. |

Yeah, I didn't want to accuse him of trolling, but I have never gone to a website dedicated to vegetarians and posted my meat-eating opinions.

Any coyote I am able to kill will not harm another deer fawn. And if you wonder if my coyote reduction plan is helping the deer herd, be happy to know that the herd appears to be more numerous and healthier than in years past.
Seems obvious that leadcounsel has never hunted coyote in his life and understands nothing about what goes on in the real world - like out here in central Texas. And who was the guy that said he "hated hunting"? What's he doing here among us. That said...if by some chance I was the world's best coyote caller and called in and shot every mangy coyote within a 5 mile radius, I'd miss the hunt and want a few more to move in on me. |

We ought not pile on them. They have the right to their opinions--no matter how misguided, ill informed, based on emotion and ignorant they are.

Five pages oughta be enough for now. I have complete faith that the subject will rise again.
