New gun Reccomendation?

Ok guys here it is..i'm getting a tax return back and will have 500$ to blow on a new gun...i'm looking for a reccomendation for a new pistol be it revolver or semi auto

Here's a sample of my sidearms currently owned...Glock 22, 1911 45acp,Walther 22, Tec 9, M11,Single Six, CZ82,Taurus 85, uberti 45lc,BP 44's

I want some interesting ideas from you guys and the only major thing is it has to chamber a higher performance round than 380acp....

500$ gives me some room but i just cant figure what i want but i gotta add to the collection!

Hmmm stoeger series...never handled one of those..that one sounds like an idea for my list

Tactical shotgun, got one but maybe i could find a semi-auto version to do...that would be a nice upgrade too

You have a nice collection.
1. Glock 19, compact enough for CCW, big enough for the range,a little cheaper to shoot than your G22.
2. Didn't see a .357 in your collection, $500 will buy a new GP100 or used S&W 686.
3. Ruger or Browning .22 target pistol for range time fun.
4. Glock 23 or 27 to complement your G22.

How about a Kel-Tec PMR 30. It is a .22 mag. semi-auto pistol that hold 30 rounds of fun. Can be had for around $ 430, leaving you some $$$ for ammo. Or how about a Browning Buckmark .22 lr. pistol. IT is a fantastic pistol..

Kel Tec PMR 30...that sounds like a great one to add to list...i havent had a 22mag in a while....i even gave all my old mag ammo to my dad couple months ago

Is the G23 Or G27 the compact glock? my Dad has a compact carry in 40sw and i can actually shoot that one faster and keep the same group as my Full size G22(except when i put my Ext/Ported barrel in)

How about a Ruger Vaquero in .357? I think that's less than $500...

Ruger 357 Magnum GP100. I pick mine up exactly one week from today.... blast California's 10 day waiting period!

Stoeger/Beretta Cougar Series, one of the very best values currently available. The new 8000L compact is due out in a month or 2 as well.

Any caliber XD. Nice reliable pistol. Or as mentioned above one of the Ruger SR series. I just bought another SR9 for the wife, very nice gun for the money.

I'm waiting to get my permit. A GP100 is on the horizon. I'm guessing in two weeks. We could both get one in the month of March.

+2 on the CZ 75. For a full size pistol, take a look at the CZ 75 BD. For mid-size, look at either the CZ 75 P-01 or the CZ 75 D Compact PCR.

All of the above are 9mm, hammer fired, de-cocker. In my opinion they are high-end guns for a mid range price.

Another post suggested a Stoeger Cougar (They can be had in 9mm, .40 & .45) There's not a better value marked to day. Very high quality guns, or a ridiculously low price.

Another vote for the GP100. I bought my Security-Six about 30 years ago and still love it.

S&W 638,,,,,,,,,can be easily concealed in a pocket and fired while still in the pocket if necessary and also offers one of the best triggers around when cocked and fired in SA.

You can find the stoegers for $389 If you look around. There is no better value on the market, and that leaves a lot of money left over for ammo

Another vote for a CZ 75. Take a look at a CZ 75D compact also.

CZ's are great... If you come across a 40B, they're really sweet. But in my experience, you can't go wrong with any CZ.
