Hawes

Does anyone know what manufacturers Hawes used for their brass frame navy Colts?

Hawes Revolvers

RPRCA has twenty four Hawes revolvers in its collection. Date of manufacture range from 1969 to 1977. Most revolvers imported by Hawes were manufactured by Armi San Paolo. They also imported a special 1860 Army brass four screw frame and cut for shoulder stock from Rigarmi. Four of the revolvers have no manufacturer’s markings. One is marked COM.

To date the following models have been observed.
Remington Beals Army Model
Remington Beals Army Model - Target Model
Schneider & Glassick Army .44cal.
Schneider & Glassick
Schneider & Glassick Sheriff
Schneider & Glassick Sheriff Engraved Cylinder
1851 Army 3rd Model .44cal.
1851 Army 3rd Model
1851 Navy 3rd Model Civilian
1860 Army
1860 Army Brass Frame CSS 4th Screw (This is a rare issue and the only known brass frame 1860 Army cut for shoulder stock)

Hawes issued two Commemorative Issues.
1851 Navy 3rd Model Gettysburg Commemorative Gold
1851 Navy 3rd Model Ft. Sumter Centennial Nickel

Further question about Hawes. The list I see does not mention an 1851 navy "sheriff's model" (i.e., a navy with a 5.5 inch barrel). Am I missing something?
