Semi-inletted stock conversion?
I have found an old stock that is a semi-inletted stock for a 740/760 remington rifle and I would like to convert it to put on a winchester model 12. Its a preety nice pice of wood I bought from Herters about 30 yrs ago for 40.00. The holes and angles look like it would be possible and was wondering if it could be changed?

It would take some doing, but it's possible.
