Haven't been able to find 55gr. fmjs @ Widener's in a long time. Just got confirmation that Montana Gold has shipped my 3500 @ $255, so I'm pleased with that.

Just checked out Widener's and was pleasantly surprised to see that they have the 55gr. in stock. 5k for $370, shipped. That's just a smidgen over what I paid for the Montana Golds.

They came in today (Montana Gold's 55gr. that is) I ordered on 5-21-09 and they arrived just minutes ago.

They are pretty nice looking bullets. The cannalure is slightly lower on the bullet profile than the Winchester Bulk 55gr and the bullet itself is a bit longer. They are boat tailed, but not nearly as aggressively as the Winchester Bulk.

I'll post side by side pictures soon. (gotta charge the camera battery)

My Montana Gold order arrived today, also. Haven't even opened the box and looked at 'em yet. Received 1000 pcs of brass from Brassman yesterday. Will be cranking a few out with the 650 soon. Still reloading for under $.15 each!
