Looking for a low velocity 9mm load

I have some 125 gr swaged lead bullets for my 9mm. I have not been able to find any loads listed the swaged bullets.

Does anyone have any experience with loads for swaged 9mm lead? I was going to goal for under 800 fps, but don't know if that light of a load will cycle the slide or not.

It may not. Target loads often require changing the pistol's recoil spring to a lighter one so it will cycle.

Velocity-wise, you objective is reasonable for that type of bullet. Driving them too fast can cause leading. About 3.2 grains of Winchester 231 would be in the ballpark, depending on your barrel length.
