Was it here that someone showed their press with LED lights?

So they can see the powder level in the case?

I saw one on a web site but basically it was as you said. They took a little led and ran the wires to the back and had a switch with a transformer to a wall socket. I have been thinking of doing the same thing but taking it one step further and adding a small mirror of some kind that you could just look into and see without having to bend over to see inside the case. When I get it done I will post a picture.

I use a camping type LED head lamp to look inside my cases after the powder drop. I used a Lee turret press. Hope that helps.

regards,

I routed a groove in a flat piece of wood and used cable clamps to mount a Streamlight LED with flexible neck. It works great and stays out of the way.

I think I know what you're talking about, but I can't find it for the life of me. Someone had mounted a small light on a bracket so that it swung over the case and came on when the handle was pushed forward. Maybe somebody will remember who it was and post a link.

I wonder if these would work. One has a magnetic base, so in theory you could attach to the press; the other is flexible enough to wrap around, err, something:

Magnets wont stick to aluminum.

Hey Ed, how's that mirror up? Looks like its stuck to some sheet metal. At any rate, looks good, mebbeee I'll try that.

P.S., Your press is too clean...:>)

Which is why I included the link to the wrap-around model. Magnets will adhere to steel and cast iron, so either of these would work with my press, and I suspect many others.
