Was it here that someone showed their press with LED lights?
So they can see the powder level in the case?

I saw one on a web site but basically it was as you said. They took a little led and ran the wires to the back and had a switch with a transformer to a wall socket. I have been thinking of doing the same thing but taking it one step further and adding a small mirror of some kind that you could just look into and see without having to bend over to see inside the case. When I get it done I will post a picture.

Edward,
Here is my quick and dirty mirror attachment. Gives good view as I sit and load. Second photo shows image in mirror down to base of brass. |

I use a camping type LED head lamp to look inside my cases after the powder drop. I used a Lee turret press. Hope that helps.

I routed a groove in a flat piece of wood and used cable clamps to mount a Streamlight LED with flexible neck. It works great and stays out of the way.

I wonder if these would work. One has a magnetic base, so in theory you could attach to the press; the other is flexible enough to wrap around, err, something:
