Sig P210 Legend Classic Target

Shot a non Swiss P210 for the first time ever. A buddy showed up at the range with it and let me have a go. In fact I am not even sure that this is its correct model designation

Anyway, I was favourably impressed, seems like a quality built pistol

Built 2014 in Germany

I like the traditional looking safety and slide release levers

It shot a bit low for my liking and I had to holdover higher

Once I got the hang of it, it shot as a 210 should, 25 m offhand

I had shot my 210-6 7.65 mm just before

I’d probably get one if they weren’t so damn expensive, they cost more than a pristine 210-6 with original adjustable sights

That’s one of the very few guns I’m interested in. Last I herd $1500 new. I don’t mind the $$ but I would like to shoot one first. I’ve got a HP Comp model FN. The only reason I still have it is accuracy. If the SIG out shoots it I want one.
Watch Hickocks review. I think gun preformed very well. He seemed uninterested in a 9mm target gun. My HP will shoot right with a K38 in accuracy Dept. No quite with a 52.

$1500 new is the American P210 Target, not a Legend.

As pointed out by bac1023, that is the German made Legend model. It was released back in 2010 for $2,199 MSRP. Here is an article from The Truth About Guns.

I think I paid about $2,400 for a silver version of the gun. The American P210 was released in 2017 for around $1,400. The American P210 got the nice enlarged thumb safety and slide release that was found on the Legend Target 6 inch model.

Brian knows a boatload about Sigs and most other world class target pistols, hell he owns most of them.

Good post, and as always, great photos Classic12. I like all the 210 versions I've encountered. But the German Legend Target version like the one you were shooting has become my favorite.

My personal favorite of the P210's is the German Legend Super Target...and I own multiple Swiss and American versions as well.

The ST is the best shooter in my experience.

Yes and it shoots well, though the sights do nothing for precision accuracy.

Yes it does...

...but the Super Target was available with a 5" barrel.
