Does anyone have the straight poop on what happened to Brass Extrusion Laboratories, Limited; 800 West Maple Lane, Bensenville, IL 60106?
Alternatively, assuming they closed, did any firm buy the equipment and continue making the equivalent .50 basic brass? I see the Old Western Scrounger selling .50x3-1/4 (50-140 Sharps), as is the Montana Armory (under name of C. Sharps Arms, Co.). Looking for for the above at a more reasonable price than $2.50-$3.00 per case! |

That's the going (retail) price for Bertram cases, made in Australia.
Brass extruders come and go. There is just not enough business. I know what free advice is worth, but if it were me, I'd buy up a full lifetime supply from www.huntingtons.com Many hard to find and unusual cases and products listed in his catalog. |
