ZASTAVA M76

IHi there,

I was hoping to get more information/experience concerning the ZASTAVA M76.

Who else is interested?

I also hear that mounting a bipod direct on the barrel will influence the shots.
(creeping higher up)

Anyone to confirm this?

They are big & heavy & I like mine. I took the bi pod off for ease of putting it in the safe. I didn't notice a difference accuracy wise either way. There's other sites out there that have the info your looking for.

Some of the Century guns have had problems & may depend on whose receiver you have.

Hi,
I decided anyway to mount the bipod on a swivel head and on the front part of the wooden grip.
So it will look a bit like the attached pic.
Mine is an original, made in Yugoslavia and for the moment I only know it works fine without any problems.

If you know any other sites for Zastava M76, please let me know.

Pretty rare if you are in the US. AK forum has a Yugo section & AK files should also have other info.
