There's a youtube video posted by a shop trying to sell a Luger with "gazzy-hurt" safety, which may have been issued to the "volks-pollozy-eye".

if its a GOOD price, buy it, and be sure to say "donkey shins"....
East German police/border guards were issued some refinished P.08s early on. Sometimes those guns turn up here. There are also pre-WWII Lugers made for police contracts. Pretty rare these days, and always spendy, even for Lugers..
