X-Products Can Cannon
Don't know if you've heard of this before or not, but X-Products makes an AR upper designed to fire full cans of soda (among other things) using 5.56 blanks. I've been watching videos about it for a few years now and it looks fun as hell. But for the MSRP of $365 (used to be $400), I've always passed it up for a better purchase like a new gun, scope, ammo, etc. Now, they're on gunbroker for about $230 and is making me reconsider getting one.
This is definitely a personal preference question, but what do you all think of it? https://www.xproducts.com/product/ca...her-ar-15-m16/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4oKMmrljTk EDIT: Go to 1:25 in the youtube video for the start of the product review/demonstration. |

If I had the money, it would definitely add that to the collection. If not for anything more than the occasional "Hey, you ever seen anything like this?" Followed by the childlike grin of any number of gun lovers out there when I grab it out of the pickup and promptly launch a can of soda down range.

We have had one for a couple of years now. We have it mounted with a Lucid Optics HD7 Red dot for sighting in quickly. Love it. It's handy for Shotgun practice or moving targets....

Looks fun to put wadding in and launch whatever you want... like a pound of flour
