WSJ and Cobra Derringers

This was in WSJ a few days ago.
https://www.wsj.com/articles/small-c...ety-1543833002
Seems like there may be a case against the safety of Cobra Derringers. However, I have a hard time believing that a Cobra Derringer, not in a holster, could get cocked simply by a person moving around etc. I could believe that a cocked derringer could have it's trigger pulled, and that a cocked derringer with the safety on could have the safety pushed off and then the trigger pulled. I wonder if the people in question were carrying with the thing cocked and locked. I had a Cobra Derringer in 22 mag. It was not a well made gun.

Thoughts and comments welcome!

Life is good.

The guy has 20 firearms and he puts that thing in his pocket. He probably had his keys in the same pocket... user error.

Probably just idiots carrying obsolete junk guns wrong.

Even if Davis goes bankrupt, the foreman buys it, swaps the name on the molds Jennings/Bryco/Jimenez style, and nothing changes.

I parked my car on a hill, put it in neutral and didn't set the parking brake. It rolled down the hill and hit a house. I'm gonna sue the manufacturer of the car.
