electronic ear protection for shotgun shooting

i have been using foam earplugs and wanted to upgrade to electronic earmuff protection, but was advised by a shotgun instructor that they would work for handgun and rifle shooting, but would get in the way for shotgunning. He advised Walker Razor X earbuds or Otis Technology and said to look on Amazon for them. The ones on Amz have a behind the head band and they don't appear to be as he described.
Does anyone have any suggestions for good quality rechargeable electronic ear bud protection?
