Cmore Scopes Repaired by Shade Tree Gunsmith

if this is in the wrong area, sorry

i have 2 Cmore 4x scopes, one had the mounting screws ripped out of it due to recoil from my .499LWR, so i checked my warranty called and the person in C.S said 'yes, they are under warranty, send them in, only one had screws ripped out, the other i just wanted checked out, i sent them back, but sadly they were "too old", they had no support for them and sent back, i got them yesterday and within 30 minutes i had the one repaired, being a former machinist and amatuer gunsmith, here is what i did, i tapped the holes to 6-32, measured the depth of the hole, added the thickness of the mount base cut off some 1", 6-32 hex head screws i had in my junk box, screwed them in to make certain they were the right length, removed them one by one, put two drops of blue "Lok-Tite" in the holes and tightened i'll mount it today and test it for strength Friday.

the original screws were 4-40 and only had two threads in the scope body, i do not know why the military would buy siuch a flimsy set up
