closing threads
How does the OP close a thread he/she has started but is now finished with it? I had some I was done with and was wanting to free up some space.
Thanks! Bill

You can only close your own thread in the Gun Show forums. All the others take on a life of their own.
In the gun show you just click "Reply to Thread" and there is an option to close the thread after the post. Maybe it can be done with "edit post" also, never tried. Other threads can be closed by PMing a moderator but you usually have to have a VERY good reason to close one.

peetzakilla is spot on with his reply. In general, there is no need to close a thread unless it has gotten out of hand. Disk space is a non-issue.
I don't think there is an option to close a Gun Show thread in the Edit screen, but you can do it, like PK said, in the final post to the thread or by using the Thread Tools menu. |

ohh...I see. Thanks for letting me know that it is a non-issue of concern. Unless as you say "it gets out of hand"
