Black powder Newbie
At a local fund raiser shoot (Lucern Valley, CA) paid $3 for three shots with an 1861 Springfield, and, here I am. Purchased Pietta 1858 Remington. Hope to shoot this Sunday. Have to agree with Capper. This forum has been immeasurably helpful, and given me an education on black powder. Thanks to all of you! Also to Zippy13. He sent me plans for his loader design. Did a slight mod and it came out great, and fits in my MTM box. A rifle is in the near future.
