VERY WELL SAID! What a steal!

S&W 10 Series are some of the best built 10mms out there. Enjoy it.

If you'd like to find out more about it you can always call S&W....they'll tell you when it was made and who it was sent to. If you live near Pensacola and would like to sell or trade it let me know.

Yours is a standard commercial model. The FBI models differed in that they came without the mag safety, had a different warning on the slide, and the grip had a curved backstrap but no palmswell.

I have two S&W 10's. They are tanks. Built to shoot hot stuff. You'll quickly be hooked on the 10. Next you'll be looking at the G20 or 29. Delta Elites...it's addicting.

I suggest you go to:
http://smith-wessonforum.com/eve first and post a question. Or
http://www.ar15armory.com/forums/10m...unge-f247.html or
http://www.home.earthlink.net/~gnappi/index.htm

Guys like BambiHunter who have 20-30 of these guns know pretty much all there is to know. Ton of guys who love the 10 and have info. They have helped me a bunch. Can answer must any question you have.

You may have an FBI gun with the disconnect warning. They are worth some loot. Only real way of knowing is to contact Smith and have Roy Jenks do a search.
