What optic am I looking for?
Ok, I had and EOTech 512, and I didn't like the reticle. It was a little blurry, and I just didn't like how fuzzy it looked. But I reall liked the parallax free, I LOVED that feature, but I didn't like the reticle. I shot one of my friends TRUglo red dots, and the field of view was perfect, it just wouldn't hold zero well, and it wasn't parallax free. What do you reccommend? Budget isn't too much of an issue, however less than $700 is preferred.

I prefer the Meprolight M-21 or Zeiss Z-Point... with a nod to the Zeiss for ever so slightly better optics. Both can be used in conjunction with the Meprolight MX3 3X magnifier.

Check out Minox scopes. I have one and absolutely love it.
At the NRA convention in St. Louis I went to the Zeiss booth and then the Minox booth. I felt the Minox was clearer than the Zeiss and cost several hundred dollars less. Camera Land carries these scopes and is an excellent company to deal with. |
