Greetings JBPTom and welcome aboard
Are you curious about California gun laws as they apply to black powder guns, or do you want recommendations/comments about specific guns? |

Tom, you're in luck. Generally, California residents may purchase black powder guns without the paper work and waiting period required for a conventional firearms purchase. Also, a mail/web-order can be sent directly to you without having to go through a licensed dealer.
More good news… Arguably, the best first BP revolver, the 1858 Remington New Army replica, is now on sale at Cabelas. |

Welcome
You came to the right place.
I have no knowledge on California gun laws. If you post photos and descriptions of the weapons you have, you could get a fairly accurate value from several of the guys on the forum. You may then want to put them on the Gunbroker.com with a price that is reflective of the things the guys are saying.
