Got my Pietta Remmie today

Based on the grip configuration I went with the Pietta Remmie over the Uberti.

Think I made the right choice. There's plenty of room behind the trigger guard.

The grip comes back a ways before starting to curve downward. I like it.

Paid $ 199.95 for a blue 5.5" from Cabella's. They were cheaper than anywhere else I checked. Orderd on a Saturday and had it shipped overnight so I recieved it in Cincinnati Tuesday morning. I have a R&D .45 Colt conversion cylinder on the way from Midway USA. They had the best price on the cylinder but REFUSED to ship a cap and ball revolver to me here in Cincinnnati.

They will not ship firearms to ANYPLACE in Ohio !!!

What's up with that ? Taylor's, Cabela's and Texas Jack's have all shipped to me here in Cincinnat. What's Midway USA's problem ?

Initial inspection of the Remmie is very favorable.

Beautiful deep even blue, good fit and action. Decent trigger and very attractive semi-gloss walnut grip panels. I was expecting the usual Italian
muddy red stain with glossy varnish. Nice suprise. Now I don't have to refinish
or replace the grips.

If this thing shoot as well as it looks then I've really got a winner.

We shall see...
