I would like to reload some light target loads for my wife. She has a S&W J-frame 357 and I recently bought some 141 grain SWC bullets. Can anyone recommend your favorite load?

Starline Brass
National Bullet Co. copper clad 141gr.bullet
Thanks,
Bill Daniel

Gee, Paul, now you've got me thinking. Well, here goes.
Bill, I routinely load up a 115 gr swc or a 125 gr rnl over 4.0 gr of 700-x for my wife and now my 13 year old daughter who will be starting plate shooting this spring. I use 357 mixed headstamp brass.
My pet load for the indoor PPC league is a 158 gr swcl over 3.2 gr Bullseye in 357 brass. I haven't use 38 brass in years. Everything goes in 357 brass.
If I were to use a 141 gr swc, I would try 4.0 gr 700-x or 3.5 gr Bullseye.

I've never used a 141 grain bullet, but for a 148 grain DEWC I've built accurate light loads with 4.0 grains of Bullseye.

Good Luck...

I don't post loads over forums either, but 2.7 grs Bullseye over a 148 WC in a .38 case is the Bullseye load. Everybody knows that so I'm not giving up anything.

Very accurate, very light recoil, cuts great holes for target/scoring and a dandy small game load.
