Shell holder question

I am new to reloading and plan on buying the Redding T-7 turret press. I am wondering if RCBS shell holders will work with this press or do they have to be from Redding? How interchangable are press reloading components between manufactures?

Welcome to reloading. The dies and shell holders are interchangable. I use whatever dies, that I get the best deal on. Alot of good used stuff out there on these shooting sites, that can save you a chunk of change. Good luck and good shooting.

Today 95% interchange between mgrs. The only time you will run into difficulty is when loading something custom or very large (50BMG). Dillon make a press that takes only their dies and that is not a problem for the people using them. But all the major mfgrs shell holders and dies will interchange.

Or you pick up older presses, like a Herters.
