These guns were made for Weatherby by one of two companies in Japan; the first company was KTG (identifiable by a 5-digit serial number), while the second company was Nikko (all Nikko-made Patricians have a serial number beginning with "N"). The Patrician was made up until 1976, when it was replaced by the Patrician II, also made by Nikko.

The Patrician was a decent pump. It was outcompeted by the 870,etc.

In good shape, well worth $150.

Would that make the Plebian worth about $75 then? (it's a history joke folks)

I thought they were pretty good guns with sometimes spectacular wood. I guess they just didn't make it for some reason.
