Vortex Optics Warranty Void after painting?

FYI. These people are awesome.

Mark,

Thank you for checking with us before Duracoating your scope. Paint or after-market coatings do not void our warranty. We just ask that you be extra careful! Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,

Figured I'd better double check this before a paint job goes down. These people really... really... stand behind their product. Others might do the same.. but it's another feather in their cap for me. I've got two of their products so far, and they're great.

Thanks for the post wwwjd. Ive been thinking of getting a vortex and painting it myself. Great to know this will not void the warranty.
