7.62 NATO Match Ammo
I have several boxes of 7.62 mm NATO Match Ammo manufactured in 1966. The following info is on each box:
-20 cartridges -7.62 MM NATO -M 118 -Lot LC 12053 -Match -Bullet 173 Grains -Velocity 2550 Fps. I would like to know if these are collectibles, and what is their value ? THanks |

Anything is collectible.
But an early lot of M118 like that should interest collectors. 1966 would represent a second year production, as M118 was officially adopted in 1965. If the carton is in good condition that will raise the potential value. I think you'll get more specific answers if you poke around cartridgecollectors.org Hope this helps, Jimro

I've got a box of those, and see them at the shows, minty condition, full boxes, for around $20 each, sometimes less, often more, up to maybe $35 range.
