Any knowledge/experience of the Steyr Scout RFR .22?
As I was perusing my favourite gun shop for possible kid-friendly .22’s, I chanced upon a Steyr Scout RFR.
It is all black with a synthetic stock. The foregrip extends a fair way along the thick blued, threaded barrel. A picatinny rail runs along the furniture’s whole length. It has a detachable 10-round mag and a delightful sort of cantilevered loading handle which makes loading the next round quicker (if needed) and, more importantly, smoothly with far less movement in the gun and thus, sight picture too. It really was very nice and I’m curious if others have seen, tried, owned or even heard of this fine firearm. If so, do tell!!
