High Tek

I am going to load some high tek bullets and have been told to use my manual to select a load. Do I use the info for lead bullets?
Thanks Steve

Use lead data... if you dont have that you can use plated load data

I've generally gotten good results using mid lead data up to mid jacketed data. It usually seems the best for me winds up being at the top of the lead load or bottom of the jacketed load.

I start with minimum lead bullet data for Hi-Tek bullets and work up. The highest I've gone for 230 gr RNFP for 45 ACP is mid jacketed loads. No reason to go that high though, as I got good accuracy with low to mid level lead bullet data. Same with 9mm 124 gr. bullets...

Agree with jetinteriorguy. I use the Missouri coated in my .357 and .45 Colt lever rifles.
And the above method works rather well.
