My buddy owns a gun shop and will hold this gun for me till he closes tonight. Its a marlin cowboy in 38/357.It has limited on the bbl.I thought that I read someware that the ones marked LIMITED were at a preimum and hard to get.It will sell for 500.Is this model any different than the other 38/357 cowboy rifles that sell in my area for 490?

Howdy,

All Marlin Cowboy rifles that I have seen, including my .45 say 1894 Cowboy Limited on the barrel. So, as far as the Cowboy rifles go, "limited" doesn't denote a premium piece.

$490 for NIB? Higher demand here. They go for about $529 to $569 new. I bought mine for $469 (I think) several years back. I almost choked then.
