Vindicated: Canik TP9 does copy Walther P99/PPQ

It's really hard to argue this fact now that the largest seller of Walther in the US shows what I've said since I bought my first TP9, TP9SA, TP9SFX; these are, though less refined, copies of Walther products.

Been saying it since the original TP9 came out, did side-by-side myself, and got railed by a few people as being just simply blind. So a little edgy, but to those folks who called me wrong...

It was never a secret that the Canik TP9 is an unlicensed copy of the Walther P99 design.

It's just one in a long line of copies and clones (both licensed and unlicensed) of this superb design (including the S&W SW99, Magnum Research MR9, Canik TP9, Sarsilmaz SAR-9, and others).

No people, here and elsewhere, do not know this

Here a guy says it's a copy of the VP9:

So a guy in the comment section of a deal site didn't know, and that's motivation for a thread? Hey it's a community and you're fully allowed to post what you want that's semi auto handgun related, and this certainly is. My point is there is always going to be at least one ignorant person. Spending time trying to disprove every one of them or convince every one of them sounds exhausting.

I've only ever known of the Canik TP9 as a Walther p99 clone.
