Chrome lined makarov barrel
I just ordered a replacement barrel for my makarov that is chrome lined. What exactly does chrome lining do? Are they more accurate? Any info would be appreciated. Mark

In military style guns (and the Makarovs come from that heritage) chrome-lined barrels were used to reduce damage from corrosive ammo (which was the bulk of military ammo for many years.)
The Chrome probably won't do a thing for accuracy, but may be a little easier to clean. |
