ATI stock on Marlin model 60

So I received my stock today and I have fully installed it to spec but now When I cock the gun it does nothing. I tried to dry fire and nothing. I looked at the spacing and it seems about right.
If anyone has installed one of these and had to make mods to the stock to make it work let me know.

It sounds like the lever isn't moving up high enough to disengage the trigger safety block.

So do i need to shave down the inside of the stock to make the receiver move down. I am worried about it becoming to loose

Sorry, I screwed up thinking this was a different model. That advise has nothing to do with your rifle.

Now to your rifle. When you installed the action, did you have to force it into the stock, or did it drop in all the way? Can you pull the trigger and feel movement or is it stuck in one place? I'm wondering if there is too much distance between the action and trigger, that the trigger isn't releasing the sear.

Yep, on the right side of the action where the LSHO lever is...you need to remove material from the inside of the stock so that it has free movement, it will lock up the whole action if it can't move.

Next thing to check is the action screws that hold it to the stock...many folks end up pilalr bedding these stocks because the plastic squishes in and they tighten down too much and they get the problem you describe.
