Who makes a wooden stock for Genesis?
I was wondering if anyone knows of a stock maker who makes a wooden stock for the Remington Genesis. I would appreciate any info.
Thanks, Last edited by Otto Carter; February 6, 2010 at 10:29 PM. Reason: change signature |

I'm not saying no one makes one but I've never seen one. What's wrong with the synthetic stock? Seems like a wood stock for one of the Genesis will cost almost as much as the gun.

The Genesis owner's manual seems to indicated that some of them did come with a factory wood stock but the Remington product page only lists laminated thumbhole stock so it was probably actually referring to the laminated stock as being wood.
If Remington doesn't offer one as a part then you would need to hunt down a used one or find an outfit that will duplicate stocks which shouldn't be too hard to find. Maybe an inquiry can also be sent to Ardesa, the Spanish manufacturer that made them for Remington as well as the very similar Traditions Yukon rifle which is still in production. However a laminated stock would make the rifle even heavier than it already is with the composite stock. Quote:
