One More Ammo Question

In addition to the .357 Federal Hydra-Shock I will use for Carry purposes with my 4" Python, I have another that I range shoot and wonder if that too would be a good Carry round, and what it's power would be classified as (I think it's at least mid-level): this is the Federal American Eagle 158 gr High Speed hollow.
How would that be as a secondary carry round? As is, it's a bit pricey for the range anyway.
