I have a Winchester model 88 in.308 (lever Action) and It has a lot of creep in the Trigger, how can I smooth that out? also what kind of range can I expect out of that particular weapon?

on most lever action the creep is there to stay, though I don't know about the 88. If it has a good bore and you practice with the rifle you should be able to take game out to 300 yards or so. Past 300 yards I wouldn't take many shots unless you know exactly where your rifle shoot at distance. I have a Savage 99 in .308 and I love it it has put quite a bit of meat on the table.
