Oops, wrong photo. It was a very nice deck until that tree came down thru it early this month and did several thousand dollars of damage. Oh well it's only money.

WOW, those are some great post. And here I thought after 45 years of shooting MLers I thought I knew something about percussion caps. I admit the only time I did use caps was in pistol events, and that was back in the 70s and 80s. Other than that is was flintlock shooting. But now my interest returned for shooting the 1858 about a year ago and man am I learning a whole bunch. I copied all your post with pictures and will give them to the guys shooting MLers over at the club. There's also a small group of us in shotgun who shoot C&B revolvers who will appreciate the info. Thanks a million. Paul
