Who makes BFR Grips?

I have a BFR 45-70 with the stock rubber grips. Magnum Research sells some replacement rubber grips and a one piece wood grip as well as a micarta grip that needs factory fitting. I'm not really interested in those.

I'd like a nice single action grip that looks like a Colt or Blackhawk but no one seems to make one for the BFR.

Does anyone know of a grip maker that makes grips for a BFR? I've done a lot of Google searches and always come up empty.

Thanks for any help to point me in the right direction.

You might send HighValleyRanch a message. He knows a lot about grips and he could probably lead you in the right direction.

Good luck!

I know Hogue makes a pair of wood geips for the BFR.

If you decide on custom grips Jack Huntington did mine.

Thanks for the ideas, I'll check out some of custom makers that were posted.

I was under the impression the BFR uses the same grips as the Super Blackhawk.

Just be sure whoever you use ..send them the gun ...no two BFR's are the same shape/size ...makes building BFR grips from a pattern near impossible to get a custom fit

Good Luck
