How to remove M&P emblem from lower receiver?
How can I remove the white "M&P15" emblem from my lower receiver, without ruining it.
I wanted a "plain" looking lower receiver, but got an extremely good deal on this stripped S&W lower.. |

If you just want to remove the white fill, acetone or other solvent and a toothbrush should remove the wax or paint used to fill the lettering.
If you want to remove the entire logo, there are a couple of ways.

Did the OP ever successfully remove the logo? I also do not like the bright white attention-grabbing logo on the side of the lower.
I would think that the suggested solutions (thinner/acetone) would not work, as this is a laser engraving. It's on the opposite side of the receiver as the roll marks. |
