Tikka T3.
I have the T3 Hunter but you can go even lighter with the T3 Lite. Great rifle. |

As far as lefty guns go i would say the Ruger, Savage has a really smooth action but they don't do as well with the left handed models. And since the M77 has a 1 in 9 twist, i could shoot a 165gr ballistic tip out of a 24" barrel 600yds easy.
.30-06 is a great choice, target shooting or hunting. What kind of scope are you interested in? In the end, it all comes down to shooter preference.

I bought a Nikon 3-9x40 BDC scope with the Savage.
My eyes aren't what they used to be, so I'm also shopping for a good ghost ring or "peep" sight for my 336. Thinking about a Williams or Skinner, if the budget will allow. Last edited by Shep; March 1, 2013 at 07:11 AM. |
