Mernickle Field Carry: Single Action cross draw for CCW
I picked up a Talo Ruger New Model Vaquero in .45acp and wanted to carry it CCW. I had an idea in mind about a radically canted cross-draw holster and it took me more than a month of scouring websites to find someone who made something I could use.
Here is the holster on the manufacturer's website: http://mernickleholsters.com/fc/fc3.html The gun When the holster arrived, I added my signature touch Concealed Revealed All in all, the ordering process went smoothly, took about 5 weeks to arrive. The holster itself is a bit thinner (leather thickness) than I had expected, but the fit and function are top notch. I ran around the house, jumped up and down, sat in every seat to see if it would jog the pistol loose and it stayed secure. If you want to carry a single action cross-draw, this is a pretty good solution. |
