Marlin 39A

I have a Marlin Golden 39A with the inscription "Original Golden 39A" on the left side of the BBL. It does not have the gold trigger like the later models do. The wood and metal are perfect and I believe it to have never been fired. I have the original box and papers. Is there anything special about this rifle? What is its value?

There's nothing special about any Marlin 39. It's a fun shooter that's worth about $250ish.
