1917 Mauser

I have a 1917 Carl Gustafs Stads Mauser in org condition and all serial numbers match.
It's missing: cleaning rod, bayonet, sling and the plate mounted on the stock(it has the brass disk). The rear adjustable site is bent and the site will not slide. My questions are: Where can I find these parts? What's the value? Should I replace the rear site?

Samco has most of what you want/need: https://www.samcoglobal.com/acc-swed-mauser.html

You might try Springfield sporters for the other parts.

By "the plate mounted on the stock" you mean the butt plate? If so, check this:

There are a couple of options for an aperture rear sight that fits the original base, my be a option if you can't find an original replacement.

You probably know this, but what you are looking for is Mauser 96 parts.

Thanks for the info! The plate I spoke of is not the butt plate. It's a plate mounted on the side of the stock beside the brass disc. Has info on using diffent ammo. Was a sticker on later models from what I've read.
