Can .32 S&W Long dies be used to reload .32 H&R magnum rounds?

Very likely.
RCBS used to sell .38 Special dies with a thick metal washer. To load .357 dies you simply unscrewed the die, put the washer between the die and the press, and that gave you roughly the difference between the .38 and .357 cases.

most likely there will be enough adjustment to do the longer cartridge... you are almost sure to be able to shorten the longer die, but sometimes there is not enough length to stretch it out for the longer carridge, on older or cheaper die sets, but most modern dies would do both...
