Safety Reminder
I was at local public range supporting a DNR "Fun Shoot" day Saturday. Couldn't resist this sign on the bench in front of me. RO knew when it happened, but "nobody saw nothin'".

Well, at least it was pointed in a relatively safe direction!

I seen something exactly like that happened.
The person in question cocked a revolver with thumb... index finger was on the trigger. |

Ummm, that isn't a safety reminder.
I see that (and have countless times before) and it doesn't remind me to be safe, it reminds me that far too many are nowhere near safe.

Irony, friends. It's the safety reminder with the 45 caliber hole in it. BTW, it's the Deer Creek Range.

I would be tempted to shoot a hole in the sign and THEN mount it. Guaranteed to generate humor and introspection for years.

He gets around. I think I was on the bench next to that guy in Texas a year ago ... and I moved further away.
