I found this rifle yesterday and it is what I would call 90 % the serial # is 55xxxxx any idea when it was made , it does not have the cross bolt safety or the tang safety , thanks

Some time in 1989. S/N 5517897 ended 1988. S/N 5574822 ended 1989.
