To quote colonel Monroe. ..... "SO" ???

Quote:

Too much generalization as it mostly depends on one's point of departure. Could you be a bit more specific. Generally it does not bother me. I am a Vet, have been around firearms most of my life. Am a hunter and Hunter Ed instructor. So for the most part, I make little or no measure. We have a fella, in town, that open carries a holstered SA revolver. The only question I asked him, was; Is that a Ruger? There were a couple of ladies present, that got a bit freaked out by it.

Be Safe !!!

I generally think that I shouldn't know they are carrying.

Well, if it's at the local range I think; There's somebody doing some pistol shooting.

If it's in my house in the middle of the night and their arrival was presaged by the sound of broken glass I think; I better shoot this SOB now!

if they have a revolver, a poncho, and a mini cigar I usually don't say anything.

Depends:
1) if open carry, they’ll be the first one shot by a bad guy.
2) only 6 bullets? Wow maybe they need a loan?
3) nice gun! Really nice Kimber! (Or Sig / Barretta)
4) tacticool! Wonder if he’d also buy a bridge or 1996 Kia?
5) he’s concealed carry but printing...

What we have here is . . .

What we have here is the operative definition of an ambiguous question.

Life is good.

Since the opening question is so ambiguous, and doesn't appear to be generating any constructive discussion, unless/until some other moderators decide it should be allowed to continue I'm going to call this one done.
