Range shooting?

Do all ranges allow shot guns? Or do you need a special location?
All replies are greatly appreciated.

It varies,Adam. At one range I use, only target loads shot at moving targets are allowed, 7 1/2 shot or smaller, 3 dram Eq limits.

Another allows patterning and slug testing and zeroing from the rifle range benches.

Neither allows "Serious" style move and shoot COFs.

Bes thing to do is to call the ranges and ask what is allowed and what is not.

Hello adam3,

The indoor club that I belong to, Cooks Sure-Shot, allows slugs on the rifle range, the outdoor club, Austin Rifle Club, allows patterning on the 40yrd range. In fairness neither are shotgun clubs and I do most of my clay shooting on a friends land.

Regards,
